Meet Michael J. Widomski:

Michael J. Widomski is the President and Founder of MJW Strategic Communications LLC, with over 30 years of experience in federal leadership, strategic communications, crisis management, and workforce engagement. A former senior executive at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA), Michael has led high-impact communication strategies that improved organizational effectiveness and public service delivery.

As Chief of the Office of Workforce Engagement at CISA, he developed the Agency’s Employee Engagement Action Plan, fostering a people-first culture and improving employee engagement scores. He has also held senior roles at FEMA, NOAA, and the EEOC, managing communications during crises and guiding senior leaders on national security, public safety, and disaster recovery initiatives.

Michael holds a master’s degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College and advanced degrees in Communication Arts. Through MJW Strategic Communications LLC, he offers tailored communication strategies, workforce engagement solutions, and crisis management consulting to organizations seeking to advance societal goals.
